If there's a particular slashy Star Trek TOS scene you want to see and can't find, I'll upload it for you.
pretty close approximation
I ask again: how does Spock calculate these things? He's worse than C-3PO.

"Space Seed" sounds like some awful/awesome porno.
It's just as well you are unique.

Kirk leans pretty heavily on Spock in this episode.

I adore how Nimoy conveys so much emotion so subtly.

I'm just going to stand here, smoking and staring at you, without giving any indication of how long I've been watching you sleep. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1984) "The Speckled Band".

Societal conventions of different centuries be damned, the two of them walking along arm-in-arm is pretty cute. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1984) "The Resident Patient".
Well, Mr. Spock?

One of those not-so-subtle "eyesex" moments, though it's mostly on Kirk's side. Spock seems to be smiling to himself for the entire episode. Ridiculous humans and their inability to control themselves around women.
Let's eat some breakfast

This is my favorite moment in the entire season. Does anyone know the name of the music that starts at 1:40? I couldn't find it on the soundtrack. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1984) "The Norwood Builder".

This scene has a nice tension, yet at the same time they're so comfortable with each other. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1984) "The Speckled Band".
Is that the answer, Holmes?

Ah, worrying about his cocaine habit. I enjoy David Burke's voice quite a lot for some reason. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1984) "The Solitary Cyclist".
It was absolutely delicious

We so rarely see Watson playing doctor to Holmes himself. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1984), "The Solitary Cyclist".

Star Trek TOS - every time Spock called Kirk "Jim"
They are a family !
Something about the way this episode is written, directed, acted, is so striking. Maybe it's just what happens when that same talented group isn't stuck in a bizarre, cheesy space fantasy.
The way that phrase was worded was nothing short of masterful. It allows for people to believe, think, and say whatever we they want at the end of the day once they clock out and go home, but so long as they are in a professional workplace setting which has people of all walks, sexes, colors, creeds, and nationalities, they must treat everyone fairly within those four walls and check their political, social, and religious hang-ups at the door whilst on the clock.
That smirk at the end makes me think Kirk enjoyed the thrill of almost dying.
Joan Collins was indeed lovely at this time just like Jane Seymour was breathtaking in the movie Somewhere In Time. When time brings the rose in full bloom and beauty comes into its own, it is wonderful to behold in some men and women.
Spock was a commander, not a lieutenant commander.
I thought that his rank was Commander not Lt Commander.
Who is Micheal jackson kirk
Kirk ,spock u said B to lankans
Yamraj amitab bachan bikari hai Rekha bi beggar Amit amit
Spock kidnaped boy and girl for electronics perpuose frm planet earth
Kirk so u r the enemy of lord
Other than that it was composed by Patrick Gowers, is a variation of the main theme, and would be classified as incidental music, I know nothing more, though it must have a title.
Eandi ra spocku vishnu murty aakunawa
My question is who was in charge of weapons inventory? 🗜️🥜😂
Whew, Kirk sent Spock out of the room when Spock got close to the drawer with the sex toys. That was a close call.
This is the Only time in Star Trek I have ever heard the Captain call Double Red Alert. Anyone else notice that?
captain James T Kirk is stronger than captain Picard, so much stronger ..
Does Uhura get an opinion? Ah, the 60s idea of the 23rd century...
That seems like a design flaw.
Sometime after this episode aired my grandfather invented the relief valve for the phaser gun. Unfortunately the show was canceled before and the relief valve was never used
HILARIOUS!!!....Kirk tossed the overloading phaser down the Enterprise's trash chute....🤣🤣🤣
Kirk’s quarters ore on Deck 5, and the disposal chute was on an inboard wall, so…no way that phaser went out to space to blow up. Perhaps the ladies’ toilettes on Deck 6 are finally unclogged?
Was always curious how she managed that👍👍
You know, the sound all these cicadas are making....sounds very much like a phaser on overload!
You know if Spock and Scotty are having to talk together you got one big sh*t a** problem going on.
“I do not dispute it. I merely state that it is wrong.” Probably the best line in this particular episode. Second best: “If I let go of a hammer on a planet that has a positive gravity, I need not see it fall to know that it has, in fact, fallen.”
Double secret probation....
Spock said shush to Captain Kirk. wow.
I've noticed the earliest episodes of the original series lacked these humorous, almost affectionate, moments which came to close out most episodes as Kirk and Co. progressed through their five year mission. For sure, sometimes the writers -- and actors -- tried a bit too hard ... things could border on, or actually stumble into, cloying cutesiness. But more often, as has been stated already in a number of comments here, these brief, concluding interludes provided some of Star Trek's most memorable exchanges. This scene is a fine example. A thoughtful passage; some teasing (punctuated by that familiar eight-note line of music (1:20); and, most importantly, nice interaction between three characters whose chemistry has never been equaled in any of the other Trek iterations (or few fictional programs of any genre).
Did he say “Double Red Alert”?
“Shhh”
. NO video cameras,... no ring camera, To catch the bad guy... .
if the phaser blows it'll take out the entire deck, so he throws it in the trash and the ship is undamaged.
Double red alarm! Double red alarm! Double red alarm! Double red alarm!
Captain Kirk put that in something called a pressure vent disposal. Presumably, the explosive force exited the ship somehow.
Didn’t think lights of that era would have such large recessed cabinets. Thank God that High Pressure Vent Disposal was just big enough to fit the phaser into, cause it couldn’t fit much more. I don’t think it could even fit a small bathroom garbage bag. Lol. Never saw these in use at any other time in any other ST episodes. Lol.
I knew this was the clip where Spock publicly compares Kirk to an inanimate object. :D
So, the place they're in is what was causing all those random things to appear and attack them?
“Double” Red Alert must be like Double Secret Probation….
I forgot about that one. Good times.😁
Double red alert!!!!
And this silly scene started the whole “phaser overload” thing that we’ve seen in just about every subsequent series.
It's silly in how it's portrayed, but even modern lithium ion cells go up pretty spectacularly. Lots of energy in a compact form suddenly released is all an explosion really is.
“Double” Red Alert?? And never again were those words uttered in the history of Star Trek. I Double dare ya to discover otherwise.
Three things as only an adult😁😁1- just fortunate that there is a pressure vent disposal chute across from Kirk’s quarters. 2- When Spock runs out into the corridor he tells a male crew member to seal of sections but I can’t hear the numbers, wonder if he ever got around to do that. And 3rd, it’s a shame they didn’t have a scene or interaction from the bridge, especially Scotty, “What are you doing to my ship?!” 🤷♂️🤷♂️😁😁
I’m sorry but they have to bring back double red alert!!!!
This was one of the best episodes of the series. The guest stars, and the quality of the script, put a light on the dangers in space, the decisions a captain must make, and the stress of service, re: Finney's behavior.
That was pretty scary.
Just like an EV battery that got a hole poked in it.
Toughest trash can in the known universe. If they had built the entire Enterprise out of the same material, the Cardashians would not stand a chance.
